Installation, setup and license activation — Candle Inventory Manager.

1. Installation

  1. In your WordPress: Plugins → Add New → search for "Candle Inventory Manager" → Install → Activate.
  2. Requires WooCommerce installed and active.
  3. A new Candle Inventory menu appears in the WordPress admin.
Minimum requirements: WordPress 6.0+, WooCommerce 8.0+, PHP 8.0+. Compatible with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage).

2. Initial setup

  1. Raw materials — register your wax, fragrances, wicks, jars, etc. with current stock and cost per unit.
  2. Recipes — on each WooCommerce product, define the "recipe": which raw materials, and how much of each, are consumed per unit sold.
  3. From then on, every sale automatically deducts the matching raw material stock — and cancellations/refunds restore it.
Free version limits: up to 15 raw materials and 8 product recipes. If you cancel Pro, your data is kept and stock deduction keeps working — you simply can't add items beyond the limits until you re-subscribe.

3. Candle Inventory Manager Pro

  1. Buy a license at apps.cozyflame.pt (monthly or annual).
  2. You receive your license key by email (format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
  3. Install the Candle Inventory Manager Pro plugin (provided in the purchase email) the same way as the free one.
  4. Go to Candle Inventory → Settings → License tab, paste the key and click Save & Activate.
  5. A license activates one site at a time. You can deactivate it on one site (on the same page) to activate it on another.

4. Updates

While your Pro license is active, updates appear automatically under Plugins in WordPress, just like any other plugin — no manual download needed. See the changelog for what changed in each version.

5. Frequently asked questions

Does it work without WooCommerce?

No — the plugin relies on WooCommerce for products, orders and stock.

Does my data leave my server?

No. All inventory, recipe and production data stays in your own WordPress database. The only information sent to our servers is the site domain and license key, to validate Pro access. See our Privacy Policy.

Does it support multiple languages?

Yes — English (base) and Portuguese are already supported via WordPress translation files.
